Grapefruit dietBy following this diet for less than a week will forever be rid of 1 kg 360 g estimated U.S. dieticians. This diet was known long ago.

The secret of its success is that you do not have to eat only grapefruit, to achieve the effect that they should be added to any acceptance of food - every day.

Specifics of the diet

Daily menu includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack. You can divide a proposed intermediate of two snacks. Before adopting any food you eat half a grapefruit (200g) or drink a glass of grapefruit juice (200ml). The menu can include without limitation such as vegetables: carrots, eggplant, spinach, green beans, celery, peppers, squash, green peas, all leafy vegetables, tomatoes, sweet radish, and mushrooms. Prepare them in salads, light snacks interim, taking into account the 5-day diet program. Every day, drink 275ml of skimmed milk or eat two small pots of yogurt diet. Five-day menu:

First day:

BREAKFAST

Mess with dried apricots.

 

Boil the oats in skimmed milk or rice porridge (150g), add 3 finely chopped dried apricots.

Lunch

Chicken meat loaf

 

Fill bread with chicken ham, finely chopped green salad and add 1 tablespoon chili sauce. Serve with vegetable salad.

DINNER

Baked salmon with potatoes

 

Baked salmon fillet 115g. Garnish: 225 g boiled potatoes, vegetables and lemon slice.

INTERMEDIATE BREAKFAST

Yogurt

 

A small pot of low fat yogurt with fruit

Second day:

BREAKFAST

Loaf with egg on toast

 

Make a sandwich of 1 hardboiled egg, a loaf of toast and 1 teaspoon butter.

Lunch

Sandwich with smoked ham and mozzarella.

 

Between 2 pieces of bread (25d) put a piece of smoked ham (50 years) and mozzarella cheese (25d)

Served with salad and sweet pepper

DINNER

Vegetable salad

 

Cut in small pieces 1 / 2 lettuce, add 75g boiled green beans 2 medium tomatoes, cut our cubes, 200g canned white beans, olives 50 years, 75g canned tuna, and 2 tablespoons chopped parsley. Add non-fat salad seasoning.

INTERMEDIATE BREAKFAST

Fruit

 

For example, 1 peach

Third day:

BREAKFAST

Banana yogurt

 

Cut into cubes 1 small banana. Add 150g skimmed yogurt.

Lunch

Carrot salad

 

A large salad of carrots or other vegetables.

DINNER

Steamed vegetables.

 

Cut some of the chopped vegetables. Stew them with 1 tablespoon oil, add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and spices for steaming the vegetables. Boil 50g rice, mix it with vegetables, seasoned dish with fresh coriander.

INTERMEDIATE BREAKFAST

Fruit but not too sweet.

 

Fourth day:

BREAKFAST

Croissant with chocolate

 

Warm croissant with chocolate

LUNCH

Tricolor salad

 

Cut flesh from the avocado half. Cut small pieces of it, and 40g mozzarella cheese and 1 tomato. Mix, seasoned with vinegar, lemon juice. 2 slices of bread

DINNER

Vegetable pizza.

 

Arrange in a baking dish, cut red peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomato and two halves.

Wash vegetables with 1 tablespoon olive oil, covered with fresh basil.

Place in oven for 20 minutes. Apply a piece of bread (50 years) with 2 tablespoons pizza sauce fatty. Arrange vegetables on top.

Served with vegetable salad

INTERMEDIATE BREAKFAST

Ice cream

 

A ball cup vanilla ice cream and Diet Coke.

Fifth day:

BREAKFAST

Bread with sausage

 

Put 1 baked sausage and diced tomato in a warm bread. Season with a tablespoon of ketchup.

Lunch

Unpeeled baked potatoes.

 

Baked potatoes 200g bark. Served with vegetable salad, mixed with 1 tablespoon low-calorie mayonnaise and skim natural yoghurt.

 

DINNER

Fish with a potato

 

Stew 150 g fish fillets. Cut the potato (200 g) into eight triangles, smear with olive oil and baked in the oven for 20 minutes.

Served with vegetables

 

INTERMEDIATE BREAKFAST

Fruit: 1 apple.

 

If you want to follow the program more than five days, then every day for safe weight loss you need to increase the minimum amount of your menu.

Depending on how overweight you want to download may require additional intermediate snacks.

Want to lose less than 6 kilograms, stick to the main menu of citrus 1000 kcal.

Want to lose more than 18 kg, the calorific value of daily increase of 500 kcal menu.

Which is contraindicated for this diet?

Despite all the merits, grapefruit is not recommended if:

Take preparations for the treatment of arterial hypertension and cardiovascular diseases, because the calcium contained in grapefruit, slows the absorption of drugs that accumulate in the blood and can lead to poisoning of the body, arrhythmias and even heart attack.

Have recently had a strong emotional load, because stress makes your adrenal glands to burn more vitamin B5, and the consumption of citrus fruits and grapefruit, including that a deficit in the body of vitamin B5 can cause severe allergic reaction.

Suffer from gastritis with increased acidity of the stomach, stomach ulcer and duodenum, as contained in citrus fruit acids increase the secretion of gastric juice.
